Yihong Tea Limited Corporation(Primary Yidu Tea Factory), which is the first fine tea factory in the ¡°Yihong¡± tea district, is supported by Soviet experts and built by Chinese Tea Corporation on March,1951. It is located in Yidu, Hubei¡ªthe joint of Yangtze Gorges and Jianghan Plain. And it¡¯s close to the junction of Qing Jiang River and Changjiang River. It backs on the area teems with tea in Xiang and Erxi .Jiao-Liu Railway traverses it. It¡¯s only 20 kilometers far away from Three Gorges Airport and Yi-Huang Highway. Yihong Tea Co.Ltd is the biggest Yihong Chinese Black Tea production and operation in Hubei. At present, there are 158 employees including 64 professionals and technicians in the co***ny which has fixed assets RMB15 million, 6,000 square kilometers; 2 production lines¡ªYihong Chinese Tea and Precious Tea, 117 sets of tea manufacturing machines 9,000 annual production capacity. It also has established self-contained testing laboratory of wastes. Products are sold to dozens of countries and regions in East Europe and America. It has great prestige in global market and obtained the title of provincial high-quality well-known goods. It has earned foreign exchange©†120 million and has handed in taxable profit RMB48 million. It is a producing and processing area appointed by the government which exports tea and has self-conducted right to import and export.
